Glass Mosaics

Glass mosaic is the art of capturing light. Pieces of colored glass are cut, chosen, and placed by hand, one by one, until the fragments come together as a single image. Each piece holds and reflects the light differently, so the work changes with the time of day and the angle of view. Up close you see the edges and colors. Step back, and a new form appears.
